According to the data of the white paper on new tea consumption in 2019, the potential market scale of China's new tea drinks will be about 50 billion yuan in 2020, and the number of new tea shops will reach 500000 by the end of 2019. When the tea market competition is becoming increasingly fierce, how to grasp the new consumption and new direction has become the core of brand building of new tea. In this track, Little Monster in Tea chooses to start with automation technology.
Established at the end of 2018, Little Monster in Tea is an unmanned milk tea shop. In the previous 36Kr's report on the Little Monster in Tea, it was mentioned that its first concept store was tested and operated in Xuhui, Shanghai in January 2019. The milk tea workstation appeared in the form of a fully enclosed transparent glass room. A six axis robot with an arm length of 1.8 meters completed the process of making milk tea, supporting 18 SKUs.
