Affected by the epidemic situation, imported meat and seafood are facing impact. According to the data released on June 22 by the China Chamber of Commerce for the import and export of food, native animals and livestock, China's total import of food from January to April this year totaled US $33.56 billion, up 21.4% year-on-year, significantly higher than that of agricultural products (7.230, - 0.08, - 1.09%). Among them, the import amount of meat and products was 10.38 billion US dollars, with a year-on-year increase of 140.5%, exceeding the total import amount of meat and products in 2017; the import amount of aquatic products and products was 4.51 billion US dollars, with a year-on-year decrease of 8.4%.
