Tiantai Yellow Tea is a new natural yellowing rare tea variety bred by local population species in Tiantai County. It is a brilliant flower bred by Tiantai County's unique ecological environment and rich tea germplasm resources. Since its discovery in 1998, nearly 10,000 mu of yellow tea has been popularized and developed in the county, forming a characteristic industrial belt of yellow tea centered on street towns. This variety has passed the approval of forest varieties in Zhejiang Province. The improved variety is named Zhonghuang No. 1, which implies the first yellow tea in China.
