Chinese food and agricultural product export enterprises at SIAL Food Exhibition in France

The SIAL Food Exhibition in France is one of the most important exhibitions in the global food industry.

Canned products are one of China's traditional export advantages. According to Chinese customs statistics, from January to September 2024, China exported 465,100 tons of canned fruits, with an export value of 602 million US dollars, an increase of 10% and 3% year-on-year, respectively. During the Paris Food Expo, Qingdao Kaichuang Food, Zhangzhou Chenzi, Tianjin Food, and member unit Fengdao Group, vice presidents of the Chamber of Commerce for Food and Soil, participated in the exhibition to showcase their corporate brand image. Visitors flocked to the venue.

China's frozen vegetables have strong competitiveness in the international market. According to Chinese customs statistics, from January to September 2024, China exported 1.035 million tons of frozen vegetables, with an export value of 1.12 billion US dollars, an increase of 10% and 7% year-on-year, respectively. During the Paris Food Expo, old exhibitors such as Shijiazhuang Fuquan, Harbin Gaotai, Tianjin Jiexu, Nanjing Handong, Jiangsu Hexian, and Lianyungang Baifulai were all present. In the first three days of the exhibition, a continuous stream of merchants visited the booth, and many of them achieved multiple orders.

Dried nuts of coarse cereals and coarse beans are China's unique export products. From January to September 2024, the export value of miscellaneous grains was 18.512 million US dollars, the export value of miscellaneous beans was 220 million US dollars, and the export value of dried nuts was 630 million US dollars. Fenyang Ruiyou, Vice President of the Food and Soil Chamber of Commerce, and Nanjing Bangnong participated in the Paris Food Expo. Nanjing Bangnong, as a member of the Global Bean Alliance GPC Executive Committee, was entrusted by the Chamber of Commerce to attend the GPC working conference as a representative of China during his stay in Paris. Mr. Randy, CEO of the Global Bean Alliance GPC, also visited the Nanjing Bangnong booth during the exhibition.
