Greece participates in the 7th CIIE

The opening of the 7th China International Import Exhibition (7th CIIE) with the participation of Greek companies was held on November 5th in Shanghai. The Consul General of Greece in Shanghai, Mr. Georgios Partheniou, and the Head of the Office for Economic and Commercial Affairs visited the Exhibition on the 6th of November.

Enterprise Greece organized Greece’s official representation of 20 companies exhibited at a national pavilion (Pavilion 5.2) and a 200 square meter sectoral pavilion (Pavilion 2.2) of the Food and Agricultural Products Section. As the official investment and trade promotion agency of the Greek State, operating under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Enterprise Greece’s mission is to attract foreign investment and promote the export of Greek products and services abroad. During CIIE 2024, in addition to the physical presence, printed material in Chinese was also distributed regarding the investment and trade cooperation opportunities Greece offers. Highlighting the important role of the action of Greek exporters in the Chinese market and the Greek participation in the China International Import Expo 2024 (7th CIIE), the Consul General, in his speech, stressed: ‘Undoubtedly, every occasion, every event, such as the 7th CIIE in Shanghai, has a pivotal role in forging the relations between China and Greece in various domains, and particularly, concerning the exhibition, in the commercial and economic field. As in past exhibitions, the Greek Pavilion for CIIE 2024 is designed for the Chinese business community and visitors in a spirit of openness and extroversion.’
